Woodford Reserve Double XO Blend

Woodford Reserve Double XO Blend is a rare release created by Master Distiller Chris Morris. The expression is a blend of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in heavily toasted casks and XO Cognac casks. This unique combination has created a complex, rich and smooth bourbon with bold oak flavours, bright fruits and spices. Woodford Reserve was introduced by Brown-Forman in 1996. The bourbon is hand-crafted at the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky, founded in 1812 by Elijah Pepper. Before receiving its current name, it was known as the Oscar Pepper Distillery and later the Labrot & Graham Distillery. The current distillery building dates from 1838 and was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 2000.
