Johnnie Walker Ghost and Rare Series 1-5

The Ghost & Rare series intends to highlight whiskies from closed distilleries, or those that are extremely rare. Whilst the whisky is still a blend under the Blue Label umbrella, the contents is different to that of the standard Blue Label. 

•  Brora is the first release, which is a blend of eight treasured Scotch Whiskies including three "ghost" whiskies from the silent distilleries of Cambus, Pittyvaich and the Highland Single Malt, Brora, which lies at the heart of this special release. year: 2017
• Port Ellen is the second in a series of special editions crafted using irreplaceable ‘ghost’ whiskies and other incredibly rare whiskies from the Johnnie Walker Blue Label reserves used to create the award-winning* Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Year: 2018
• Glenury Royal, the third offering draws on rare casks from the legendary Highland “ghost” distillery of Glenury Royal, a hidden treasure of the whisky world, which closed its doors in 1985. Year: 2019
• Pittyvaich, a sweet and fruity release featuring casks from Speyside ghost distillery  as well as Port Dundas and Carsebridge. Year: 2020
• Port Dundas, the fifth and final offering in this limited-edition series, Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Port Dundas, draws on rare casks from the legendary ‘ghost’ distillery of Port Dundas, which existed for almost 200 years until it closed its doors in 2010. Year: 2021

TASTING PROCESS

1. Private tasting and tutoring, including a 3-course meal
2. Ultra exclusive and rare, to be tutored by a Diageo Ambassador
3. Only available for groups of 4 people at a time
4. Full pre-payment before confirmation of booking - dates and times
5. Suitable dates will be provided for the tasting, which will take 2 hours maximum
6. All pouring per individual glass 25ml
