Loch Lomond Peated Rioja Cask Finish is created through distillation in unique Straight Neck and Swan Neck stills, allowing for precise control over the character of the distillate. The result is a balanced base with a combination of fruitiness and subtle peat. After primary maturation, whisky ages for an additional 6 months in Spanish red wine Rioja casks. This process imparts distinct notes of red fruit, gentle wine sweetness, and a spicy depth that elegantly complements the smoky profile.
