The Laphroaig 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is made in very limited quantities each year and savoured by a fortunate few. A supple, sweet and spicy Islay peat smoke greets you when you first open the bottle. The immediate taste is an oak sweetness, a contribution from 18 years in the barrel, with a faint hint of ocean salt notes, testimony to its time maturing on the remote island of Islay. The Whisky is non-chill filtered, adding depth of taste and an oily smoothness to the textured, full bodied finish. A classic Islay.
