Glenmorangie’s "A Tale Of..." series is a collection of limited-edition whiskies, each inspired by unique experiences, flavors, and cultures, curated by Dr Bill Lumsden. The "A Tale Of..." series showcases Glenmorangie’s creative and experimental side, blending artistry with whisky-making tradition. Each bottling is designed to tell a story, evoking specific moods, memories, or experiences through distinctive flavor profiles and cask finishes. The series is curated by Dr Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation, who draws inspiration from his travels, personal experiences, and global flavors

1. A Tale of Tokyo: Inspired by Japan’s vibrant metropolis, this whisky combines tradition and innovation. It is aged in rare Mizunara oak, sherry, and bourbon casks, offering a complex profile of peppery spice, bitter cherries, orange zest, incense, and sweet oak.
2. A Tale of Ice Cream: A playful, dessert-like expression aged in bourbon casks, evoking childhood memories. Flavors include peach melba, honeycomb, lemon sorbet, coconut flakes, and toffee-apple sauce, creating a creamy, sweet experience. 
3. A Tale of Forest: Inspired by nature, this whisky uses an ancient method of kilning barley with botanicals like juniper berries, birch bark, and heather flowers. It delivers herbal aromas of pine, juniper, coriander, and flavors of eucalyptus and bitter orange, capturing a woodland essence.
4. A Tale of Winter: Designed for cozy winter evenings, it features warm, spicy aromas with hints of cinnamon and cloves, evoking the feeling of sitting by a fireplace.
5. A Tale of Cake: Celebrating the joy of cake, this edition combines sweet, fruity notes with a creamy finish, appealing to those with a sweet tooth
6. A Tale of Spices: A globally inspired expression finished in four different cask types—Moroccan red wine casks, new charred oak, shaved toasted red wine casks, and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks—resulting in a perfumed, sweet, and spicy whisky
