Launched in 2021, the Glenfiddich 26 years Grande Couronne is the third release in the Grand Series from Glenfiddich and is a masterful whiskey for lovers of luxurious single malts in general - and fans of Glenfiddich whiskey in particular! The basis of the character of the Glenfiddich Grande Couronne is laid by a very long 24-year maturation period in American and European oak barrels, followed by a 2-year post-aging in ex-cognac barrels. Aromatic and lively with swirls of sweets and toasted oak, give this whiskey plenty of time to develop in the glass and discover warm notes of freshly baked Tarte Tatin and buttery pastry. The Glenfiddich Grande Couronne 26 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was produced in a run of just 10,000 bottles and is housed in an artfully embellished bottle and display box eloquently alluding to the refinement botted within.
