Glenfiddich Vintage Cask is matured in European Oak and Bourbon casks, giving the finished product a lovely mix of flavours. On the nose there is a slightly maritime peat, with apple and pear aromas and a little coffee. The palate is faithful to the nose, but adds oakier, wood spice flavours, and a little thick chocolate. The finish provides the drinker with a lasting smoke, caramel sweetness, and a little dried fruit. A top dram, presented in a smart squat bottle complete with presentation box.
