Glen Scotia 11 Year Old Malts Festival 2023

The Malts Festival release from Glen Scotia has become a huge hit every year. Glen Scotia - one of the very few surviving Campbeltown malts - makes a truly unique release annually for the festival. They are bottled at cask strength and non chill filtered and they showcase the diversity of what Glen Scotia has to offer. This year, we have an in-between peat style - arguably Glen Scotia's finest version of their malt. Lightly peated malt was aged for 10 years and then finished for it's final year in white port casks. It is brimming with bright spiced orchard fruit and interwoven with that signature soft smoke and sea salt that is the calling card of Campbeltown.

Rich, fruity white Port meets lightly-peated whisky in this limited-edition bottling from Glen Scotia. After a decade resting in American oak by Campbeltown harbour this smoky, salty single malt was filled into white Port casks for a further 12 month maturation. The sweet wine influence manifests in layers of stone fruit and delicate spices that accompany classic Glen Scotia distillery character.
