Compass Box Phenomenology

Leap into the unknown with this limited-edition blended malt, inspired by phenomenology - 'the study of consciousness and the objects of direct experience'. To encourage people to experience this whisky without preconceptions Compass Box have not released any tasting notes, or even listed which single malts make up this blend. Phenomenology has been bottled at 46% abv and limited to 7,908 bottles worldwide and packaged in a funky surrealist/Daliesque box. A mystery mix of Blended malts from five different sources with the main component making up 72% of the blend. Some whisky enthusiast have mentioned the following ingredients: Glenlossie 72% re-charred Hogshead/ Tamdhu 24.5% 1st fill Ex-Bourbon/ Highland Park 2% re-charred Hogshead/ Talisker 1% refill butt/ Caol Ila 0.5% Hogsheads.
