Compass Box Arcana

In celebration of their 20th anniversary, Compass Box has released a limited-edition version of The Peat Monster blended malt. The blend consists of Talisker (72.9%), Miltonduff (10.6%), Ardbeg (6.9%), and a cask-strength version of The Peat Monster (9.6%), which underwent additional maturation for two years in French oak casks. These casks had previously matured Compass Box’s Highland malt. A perfect pairing with blue cheese. Aromas of chocolate, cinnamon and tar fill the nose, while the palate is fruity and waxy with notes of lemons, shortbread and orange peel. Peat smoke lingers throughout to a dry and delicious finish.
