Bushmills happens to be the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world and while the registered trademark dates back to 1784, the license was granted by King James I way back in 1608 - date which is shown on the label. As another little fun fact, according to their official website, the many mills which could be found alongside the River Bush, from which the Distillery gets the water, gave this whiskey its name.
Bushmills 10 Year Old is a single malt made 100% with malted Irish barley, it has 40% abv and it's triple distilled and matured in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks for at least 10 years.
