Aslina wines are produced by South Africa’s first black woman winemaker, the talented Ntsiki Biyela, who continues to pioneer the way for women around her.
A full-bodied wine with hints of minty characters, cigar box and lots of dark fruits. Bold palate with chewy tannins. On the nose, the wine exudes earthiness, dark spices, with hints of liquorice and vanilla. Blackberries, red plum and raspberry dominate, giving off a luscious and inviting aroma. The red and dark fruit flavours perceived on the nose carry through to the palate, and offer a long chalky finish with chocolate undertones.
