Ayama Carignan 2020 The Red Pathway

AYAMA Wines, located on the slopes of the Paardeberg Mountain, produces wines that express the unique terroir of Voor-Paardeberg. Its name is a word from the "Xhosa" language which means "someone to lean on", the symbol of the friendship that unites the Italian owners. The synthesis of AYAMA's philosophy is the fusion of a wonderful territory with a touch of Italian style. AYAMA Wines is the home of South Africa's first Vermentino. 

Carignan is an expression of dark cherry fruit, blueberries, violet and other floral aromas along with notes of orange peel, black liquorice and cocoa. Well bodied with fine tannin with excellent potential for ageing.
