From the best parcels in San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Labastida, Ábalos and El Villar, all situated at an average altitude of 500 meters. Vinified in wooden storage tanks. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in French oak barrels depending on the characteristics of each vintage, but never more than 10%. Aging in new French oak barrels of extrafine grain and single-use and in 4,000 liter foudres (large wood vats) for between 16 and 18 months, to guarantee velvet-smooth tannins. Before reaching the market, this fantastic wine is bottle-aged for three years. Aging potential is between 15 and 20 years.
