Johnnie Walker Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal (no 3)

The Ghost & Rare series intends to highlight whiskies from closed distilleries, or those that are extremely rare. Whilst the whisky is still a blend under the Blue Label umbrella, the contents is different to that of the standard Blue Label. 

The third offering in this limited-edition series, Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare Glenury Royal, draws on rare casks from the legendary Highland “ghost” distillery of Glenury Royal, a hidden treasure of the whisky world, which closed its doors in 1985. This whisky was created by blending the highly sought-after “ghost” whiskies from Cambus and Pittyvaich, with five incredibly rare malts from Glen Elgin, Inchgower, Glenlossie, Cameronbridge and Glenkinchie.
