Diemersdal Private Collection 2022

Six generations of Louws have practiced the art of winemaking at Diemersdal since the Estate passed into their hands in 1885. More than 12 decades later Diemersdal is a well-known landmark in the lush Durbanville Valley one of the Cape’s oldest wine regions. Diemersdal forms part of the Wine of Origin Cape Town where cooling mists from the Atlantic Ocean roll over the vineyards every afternoon contributing to the unique character of Diemersdal wines.

The Diemersdal Private Collection 2022 is a sophisticated Bordeaux-style blend (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and others) known for its complexity and depth. This vintage showcases aromas of deep dark chocolate, cedar, blackberry jam, cherry, and cassis. On the palate, it offers rich flavors of dark fruit layered with hints of oak and spice, providing a structured and full-bodied experience. The wine is well-balanced with firm tannins and a lingering, complex finish​.
