The newly released 2017 Delaire Graff Banghoek Reserve Merlot underpins the resurgence of Merlot in SA and is a ‘must’ for all Merlot lovers. It starts with an attractive, perfumed nose with florals and ripe plum notes. Its fruit purity is backed by a wonderfully elegant and fresh palate with succulent, fine tannins. From a 20-year-old single vineyard, this wine ticks all the Merlot boxes – fragrant, medium-bodied, silky tannins and a refined, detailed finish.
