The Myths & Legends series by Compass Box includes three limited releases: Myths & Legends I, II, and III. Each release aims to debunk misconceptions about whisky blending and distillery character.
- Myths & Legends I features a blend of three Balblair whiskies from the Highlands Balblair distillery
- Myths & Legends II combines six different malts from the Speyside Glen Elgin distillery.
- Myths & Legends III blends some of the same parcels of malt whisky used in Myths & Legends II with peated malt whiskies from the Highland Park and Caol Ila distilleries.
All three releases are non-chillfiltered, naturally colored, and bottled at 46% ABV. The series was released in July 2019, with only 4,394, 4,446, and 4,564 bottles produced, respectively
