This 16 year old Lagavulin Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky from the Classic Malts selection from the Islay legend Lagavulin was distilled in the year 1999, matured for many years in American Oak Bourbon casks and up to 6 months in European Pedro Ximenez Sherry oak casks - these give the whisky more fruit such as sultanas and dried fruit and a syrupy character. The bottling took place in the year 2015 at 43.0% vol. and the batch number lgv.04/504 under the direction of distillery manager Georgie Crawford.
