Launched in 2009, it was the fourth single malt to be added to the core range. At that time it consisted of a 10, 17 and 21 year old Glengoyne. We now know that the 17 year old has been discontinued, but the core range has been further expanded over the years with a 15, 18, 25 year old single malt, a cask strength edition and then you also have a few special bottlings, such as the Legacy, which was launched last year, and a 30 year old. It’s quite a list, but everything Glengoyne brings out seems to be well received and it’s also a brand I like to go back to every now and then, with the 21 year old still being my all-time favourite of the range. This Glengoyne has matured in refill oak,1st fill sherry & 1st fill bourbon and is bottled at 43% ABV.
