A 2012-vintage Port Charlotte Islay Barley heavily-peated single malt from Bruichladdich, made using barley from eight farms on Islay. Aromas of lemon, apple sauce, pears, summer flowers, chocolate-covered coconut, burnt heather, muddy peat and vanilla fill the nose. The palate offers notes of milk chocolate, black pepper, freshly-baked scones, honey, earthy smoke, apricot, cream and warm, sandy beaches that linger in the finish.
