It's the second release in Macallan's Concept series, released for the Travel Retail market. While the first release took inspiration from surreal art, this expression takes inspiration from the world of music. Macallan whisky maker Steven Bremner is a house DJ and likens the layering of sounds to the layering of flavours, and has crafted this single malt using whisky drawn from sherry-seasoned American oak casks, Miguel Martin sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks.
