Jameson Triple Triple Marsala Cask (1000ml)

Jameson Triple Triple is the first whiskey from the famed Irish distillery to be both three times distilled and triple-casked. This means it has gone through a series of stills to clarify its essence, and it has then been rotated through three types of cask, each conferring its own characteristics onto the liquor.

This Jameson whiskey adds a Sicilian twist to the best-selling Irish whiskey brand’s Triple Triple travel retail exclusive range. It is the third bottling in the series and follows the Triple Triple Malaga Edition and Chestnut Edition. Triple Triple refers to the fact that each whiskey is triple distilled in the the traditional Irish style and then matured in three types of cask.

Crafted from American white oak, known for its contribution of sweet vanilla and clove spice notes, these Marsala casks are hand-selected from the renowned Florio Winery in Sicily. They are then seasoned with Marsala wine for two to three years, absorbing rich flavours of apricot, toffee apple, walnut and woodland spices. These freshly emptied casks are then transported to Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Ireland, where they meet Jameson’s triple-distilled whiskey, adding a layer of exciting complexity to the final result.
