Matured for nineteen years in a refill bourbon cask, which slowly adds complexity to the character of this unique Speyside whisky. Further matured for two months in a European oak cask that had held Châteaux Talbot’s famous Bordeaux Cru-classified red wine. The French red wine barrique was chosen especially by Murray McDavid’s Whisky Creations Team to add fresh fruit flavours to this rich, full-bodied malt whisky.
