Glenmorangie Extremely Rare 18 year old

Glenmorangie 18 Years Old Extremely Rare is a radiant and floral single malt from Glenmorangie. The whisky is first aged in ex-bourbon casks for 15 years. A portion is then transferred to Oloroso sherry casks and finished for 3 years. After a total maturation of 18 years, the whisky is reunited and bottled at 43%. Glenmorangie 18 Years Old Extremely Rare has a rich nose with sweet dried fruit aromas and a floral lushness. On the palate you’ll find a warm balance of honey, malt and flowery notes. Flavours of figs, dates, marmalade and caramelised orange emerge, joined by some campfire smoke in the background. The finish is long and enticing with the sweetness of dried fruit and subtle dryness of Oloroso nuttiness.
