The Ballindalloch estate is close to the beautiful banks of the confluence of the rivers Avon and Spey and has been home to the family since 1546. She is returning to the roots of previous generations with Ballindalloch Distillery and taking an approach to whisky making that is rarely found today. It is a single estate distillery, which means that all steps of production take place in the distillery or in the immediate vicinity. In addition, the still is operated without automation and computers.
The Ballindalloch Seven Springs Collection No. 2 is an impressive proof of the versatility of the Ballindalloch spirit. This single malt reflects the autumnal colours of Ballindalloch Castle, which the family has guarded for twenty-four generations. It matured for eight years in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks and was bottled at cask strength. Reddish-brown and golden hues, rich aromas of chocolate and orange, and an elegant, spicy finish make this bottling a unique treat
