This is the final release of the ‘91, from 2018– one of the last vintage statement releases from Balblair before they revamped their core range (and skyrocketed the price of the age-stated 25yr, putting anything age-comparable from the distillery wildly out of reach for me.) This was matured 24 years in refill ex-bourbon American oak and re-racked into ex-Oloroso sherry butts for a further three years.
