This is the story of four South Africans - an investment banker, a political advisor, a Private Equity specialist and a retired politician – who decided one day to create a new, truly exceptional wine, and the Epicurean Red is the convincing result. “A great wine is conspicuous by its perfect balance which is aromatically harmonious, pure, powerful, and above all, complex” say its four founders, Mbhazima Shilowa, Mutle Mogase, Ron T. Gault and Moss Ngoasheng. They set themselves the challenge of creating a wine that lived up to this benchmark. A blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, Epicurean is a true beauty and sets a milestone for South African wines.

The Epicurean red 2014 vintage is beautiful, elegant, with poise, power and complexity. Even with some tertiary flavours evident, the freshness and dark fruit flavours overlaying  the wine and bring joy to the palate. This wine is fully integrated and imminently drinkable.
