Ridgeback Journey 2020

 The nine premium vineyard parcels sourced to create The Journey are nestled along the foothills of Paarl Mountain where they thrive in the deep decomposed Granite soils. Each site has been specifically selected to provide the ideal micro-climate to suite the particular cultivar and advances a diversity of flavour components. 

A blend of the finest Bordeaux cultivars showing intense and vibrant colour. Rich, opulent aromas of mulberry and plum with a hint of pepper spice evolve to notes of our beloved Fynbos in the glass. The soft, integrated tannins and juicy mid palate run seamlessly onto a long, mineral finish. This immensely versatile blend would complement dishes including roast lamb, game, veal or decadent dark chocolate.
