Crafted by celebrated winemaker Abrie Beeslaar, this vintage is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, and 11% Merlot. With vines averaging 30 years of age, this wine is the epitome of elegance and structure, a product of dry land vineyards grown on decomposed granite soils. Fermented in open-top concrete fermenters and matured for 24 months in 100% new French Nevers oak barrels, this wine showcases a stunning saturated ruby hue. On the nose, expect complex layers of tilled earth, nutmeg, cedar, and a bouquet garni, intertwined with red and black fruits. The palate is refined, with precise tannins and a perfectly balanced structure, offering a long and youthful finish.
