Bruichladdich Octomore 15.2 is a super heavily peated Islay single malt scotch whisky, crafted on the Isle of Islay, Scotland. Distilled in 2018 from Scottish Mainland Concerto barley, this whisky presents a distinct peaty profile with phenol levels of 108.2 PPM, offering a bold expression of its origins. Aged for 5 years, Octomore 15.2 begins its journey in second fill wine and bourbon casks, before finishing its maturation in first fill Cognac casks, which imparts a rich complexity to its character. With an ABV of 57.9%, it is a robust dram, yet beautifully balanced.
