Spot Whiskey owned today by Irish Distillers/Pernod Ricard, has been one of the few Irish whiskey labels that has been able to remain in continuous production during the ups and downs of the Irish whiskey story. This is a living relic of the days of the whiskey bonders. Green Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey, comprised of pot still whiskeys aged between 7 and 10 years old. This critically acclaimed dram is matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at 40% abv. Expect notes of aromatic oils and spices and orchard fruits on the nose. The palate boasts mouth-coating flavours of mixed spice, green apple and toasted oak, with a lingering finish full of cloves and barley.
