Midleton Very Rare 2023 Vintage Release

Each year since 1984, the Master Distiller of Midleton hand selects and skilfully blends the finest and rarest whiskeys available for the annual limited-edition Vintage release. The Midleton Very Rare Vintage Release 2023 has been created by Kevin O’Gorman, who started working at Midleton in 1998 and took over as Master Distiller in 2020. This year’s release is a blend of single grain and single pot still whiskey, aged in lightly charred ex-bourbon barrels. The whiskey brings decadent flavours of succulent fruits and spices, joined by notes of vanilla, citrus, milk chocolate, golden syrup and oak tannins, and a herbal touch of chamomile tea. Midleton Very Rare Vintage Release 2023 is presented in a sustainable hard cardboard box with fabric lining, inspired by the original packaging used for the first Vintage in 1984.
