Expanding the ‘Spot’ range of Irish whiskies is the Yellow Spot 12-Year-Old, this sweet tasting dram. Matured for 12-year period in three oak cask types: American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts and, uniquely, Spanish Malaga casks which bring an exotic sweet note to the whiskey. On the nose there is a lot of soft stone fruits such as apricots, plums and so on, with a hint of vanilla. The palate also has oodles of fruit, and a long, sweet finish is the perfect end to each sip.
