This special-edition single malt from Loch Lomond was released as part of the distillery’s The Open Course Collection and named after Royal Portrush Golf Club. The official whisky of the Open, Loch Lomond have created this series in collaboration with 2011 Open Champion Darren Clarke. Matured in three types of American oak casks, Distiller’s Cut has notes of ripe apples, red berries, floral heather-honey and a funky, tropical-fruit edge, before a long finish with gentle wisps of peat smoke.
