An old bottle of Glenfiddich's 21-year-old Millennium Reserve, one of the better of the deluge of special edition bottles from every distillery on the planet released in 1999 to celebrate the new millennium and the dawn of the 21st century. Cynics might wonder if this was just the normal Glenfiddich 21-year-old in millennium packaging, but at the time of this release, there wasn't a 21-year-old Glenfiddich in the distillery's core range - the Glenfiddich 21yo Havana Reserve wasn't released until 2003. Glenfiddich 21-year-old Millennium Reserve was a genuine one-off limited edition assembled from American and European oak ex-bourbon and sherry casks, and still stands up very well today as a high quality medium-bodied dram with an impressive depth of flavour.
