Longrow is the heavily-peated arm of Springbank distillers. Regular Springbank releases have a certain amount of peat to them, but the Longrow brand amps this up by a considerable amount. Longrow Peated is the revised name for what was previously known as Longrow CV. The barley spends roughly 48 hours drying under a peat fire resulting in about 50ppm (phenol parts per million). Longrow Peated is double distilled and bottled without an age statement, caramel coloring or chill filtration.
