Black Bull 21 Year Old (Duncan Taylor) Whisky

Black Bull 21 year was first released in 1864 and is still blended to the same formula today as was used in the very beginning. Bottled at a robust 50% abv using large percentage of quality Speyside and Highland malts, matured in sherry and bourbon casks, and blended to a high malt to grain ratio. 

From Duncan Taylor, we have the twenty-one-year-old ‘Black Bull’ blended whisky. It’s masterfully balanced, with mainland and island whiskies forming the blend. The malt-to-grain ratio tilts ever so slightly toward malt. Expect powerful flavours, but plenty of nuance, too.
