One of 3113 bottles, this is a blended whisky created by the Master Whisky Makers at Compass Box, and Mannie Monaghan who won the bartender's competition to assemble a blend with this brilliant independent bottler. A combination of Glen Elgin in a recharred cask (50.4%) Speyburn in a refill cask (17.3%), a sherried blend (14.3%) a sherried Teaninich (13.5%) Linkwood in an STR French Barrique (2.3%) and sherried Ardmore (2.2%). Mannie Monaghan experiences flavour and colour simultaneously, which is known as synaesthesia. This dram represents the positivity and vibrancy of the colour coral. Mannie wanted to make a whisky that expressed this colour, and that provided the Compass Box Whisky Makers with their inspiration for this dram.
