Compass Box Whisky has revealed details of its Hedonism 2025 Limited Annual Release, marking a significant evolution for the pioneering blended grain whisky that helped establish the brand in 2000. The 2025 edition, features artwork by Argentinian artist Sofia Bonati, continuing Hedonism’s tradition as the first whisky to feature a female form on its label.
The blend features single grain whisky from Cameronbridge Distillery, which underwent additional maturation in a first-fill Marsala barrique for two years. The composition also includes single grain from Girvan Distillery and components from previous Hedonism vattings, including 16-year-old and 19-year-old expressions. The resulting flavor profile carries aromas of peach purée, cocoa and pear on the nose. On the palate, drinkers can expect chocolate mousse, nutmeg-infused custard, white grape, Fuji apple, and vanilla.
