Volpaia 2019 Chianti Classico is produced from organically-grown Sangiovese grapes near the village of Volpaia from one of the highest vineyards in the Chianti wine region. Big, bold and mouth-watering with tart cherry, raspberry compote, garrigue herbs and spicy flavours on the palate, tannins are firm and Velcro-like. Good now, better in 2023.
