The name ‘Spook’ (Dutch for ‘ghost’) derives from the legend that one can discern a “spirit” within the swirls of our flowing farm spring. Perhaps it was this mystical allure that called the Davis family to this farmland two decades ago? Or perhaps it was the sheer beauty of its views and promise of award-winning wines?
Aromas of black Cherry, violets, tobacco leaf, cedar wood and lead pencil savings abound on the nose.
