Three of the\u003cbr\u003eparcels were from the stony Schist-based soils of the Kasteelberg, two hail from dry-land\u003cbr\u003ebush vines grown in the decomposed Granite terroir of the Paardeberg, and one from the\u003cbr\u003eIron-rich soils just west of Malmesbury. This wine was first aged for 11 months in French oak 500L barrels. During this period, it developed a beautiful tannin structure as well as dark perfume notes.
