With excellent conditions in 2021, especially for Stellenbosch, winemaker Morné Frey was able to create a super-charged Botmaskop. A powerful, yet elegant, Bordeaux-style red blend with aromas of cassis, spice, and dark berries, and flavors of blackberry, licorice, and dark chocolate on the palate. It has a full-bodied texture with fine, lingering tannins and a long, balanced finish.
