Coming as the culmination of the first “New Malt Order” cocktail competition, the whisky is a blend of the individual bottlings created by each of the winning entrants.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe whiskies used spanned over 40 years, the youngest of which were 6 years. A dizzying array of casks were used, including: rum casks, German oak, American oak, red wine barriques, and former Laphroaig casks (Beam-Suntory owns both Auchentoshan and Laphroaig)!
